Dr. Wang joined the Division of Biostatistics in year 2002. He also holds a joint appointment at the Human and Molecular Genetics Center (HMGC).
Dr. Wang's research interests are in statistical genetics. Recent work includes modeling and linkage/association mapping of quantitative trait loci (QTL) and disease genes using polymorphic genetic markers, haplotype analyses of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
