STATISTICAL SOFTWARE BY DIVISION FACULTY AND COLLABORATORS
DIGRAM, a PC based program, written by Svend Kreiner of the Department of
Sociology, analyzes recursive graphical models for discrete data. The program
is interactive and allows both for asymptotic and exact conditional inference.
Included in the program is a help option which explains the commands for the
program. For general introduction to the use of the program see the recent paper
by Klein, Keiding and Kreiner Statistics in Medicine 14, 1265-1290, 1995 or
the technical Report on which the paper is based.
The program is available in the self extracting file kreiner.exe. To extract
the program, place the file kreiner.exe
on your PC and issue DOS command kreiner.exe. This will create a large number of files.
The main program is in the file DIGRAM.EXE. The program VARHELP.EXE is useful for
constructing inputs into the program.
Further information on the use of the program is available from Svend Kreiner
at socsk@pc.ibt.dk.
The program is also available by anonymous ftp from biostat.mcw.edu
in the directoy pub.
